MOSCOW, November 24 (Itar-Tass) — A draft of the government’s order on distribution of the state defence order for 2012, 2013 and 2014 is due to be presented for further signing on December 4 of the current year, Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Ivanov told a meeting of the Military-Industrial commission at the government.
“This means that after December 4 all performers of the state defence order may sign contracts without waiting for the New Year to come,” he said on Thursday.
Ivanov stressed that with the raising financing the most important task is to organise correct and effective use of the financial means. Russia’s President Dmitry Medvedev and Prime Minister Vladimir Putin have ordered several times to fix price on batch production prior to contracts and not during their terms, and to fix price on the major sample of a series during the first quarter of the coming year.
