RF, China diplomats discuss situation in Middle East, North Africa

The sides agreed on the further intensification of the political dialogue between Russia and China on regional issues

MOSCOW, November 24 (Itar-Tass) — Russian and Chinese diplomats met in Moscow on Thursday to discuss Russian-Chinese interaction in connection with the situations in the Middle East and North Africa, including developments in Egypt and Syria, deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov said after a meeting with his Chinese counterpart, Zhai Jun, who had arrived in Moscow for consultations by BRICS deputy foreign ministers on the situation in the Middle East and North Africa.

“The two men discussed interaction in connection with the situation in the Middle East and North Africa, including developments in Egypt, Syria and also the Middle East settlement,” Bogdanov said. The sides agreed on the further intensification of the political dialogue between Russia and China on regional issues.
