Russia’s petrol prices over 10 months grow by about 15%

In October, consumer prices petrol of different brands exceeded producers’ prices by 1.8-1.9 times in Russia on the average

MOSCOW, November 24 (Itar-Tass) —— Russia’s prices of car petrol grew by 0.7 percent in October, by 14.6 percent over 10 months, the Russian Federal Statistics Service (Rosstat) reported on Thursday. At the same time, producers’ prices dropped by 1.2 in October and grew by 14.4 percent in January-October.

In October, an increase of consumer prices of car petrol was recorded in 66 constituencies of the Russian Federation. The most considerable increase was registered in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area - - by 4.6 percent. Petrol prices didn’t change in nine constituencies in comparison with the previous month. The drop of petrol prices was recorded in eight constituencies, including in the Republic of Ingushetia - - by 3.1 percent.

In Moscow and St. Petersburg, consumer prices of car petrol over the past month increased by average 0.8 and 0.5 percent, accordingly.
