TVER, November 23 (Itar-Tass) — Top executives from the Redkino Experimental Plant, whose Director Yevgeny Kurbatov has been missing since Friday after his helicopter got lost in the Tver region, promised to pay 300,000 roubles to anyone who finds the man, a plant spokesman told journalists on Wednesday.

The sixth day of search started with a prayer served by the Father Alexei Frolov, the senior priest of the Church of the Nativity of Christ in the settlement of Rozhdestveno.

Meanwhile, the search has yielded no result so far. The search operation involves about 400 rescuers and aircrafts. The area of the search has been further expanded up to the neighboring Nizhny Novgorod region.

“According to estimates, the helicopter had fuel enough to cover a distance of 650 kilometers. The territory of the Nizhny Novgorod region is within this radius,” the spokesman for the Nizhny Novgorod emergencies administration told Itar-Tass.

The Robinson R44 departed from the settlement of Gorodnya in the Konakovo district on Friday evening. It was supposed to fly to Orshinskiye Bolota and back. The pilot made no contact with the tower. The helicopter emergency buoy activated at 19:15 Moscow time. According to preliminary data, the helicopter had only one person aboard, Redkino Experimental Plant Director Yevgeny Kurbatov, 47. His whereabouts are yet unknown.
