KIEV, November 23 (Itar-Tass) — Ukrainian ex-prime minister Yulia Timoshenko, who underwent a medical examnation outside the Kiev detention center, has no serious pathologies posing threat to her life, UNIAN news said on Wednesday.

In accordance with the recommendations issued by the Ukrainian Health Ministry Timoshenko underwent a medical examination with the use of a tomography, Roentgen and sleep therapy equipment, the Ukrainian penitentiary service said in a press release on Wednesday. As a result of the examination no pathologies posing threat to Timoshenko's life have been found, the press release said. The penitentiary service said that Timoshenko’s state of health permits continuing the necessary investigating procedures.

The results of the investigation have been turned over to a medical department of the Kiev Detention Center for administering the necessary medical treatment, the press release said. The medical personnel of the Kiev detention center have brought Timoshenko’s condition under control, it said.

Ukraine's Health Minister Alexander Anishchenko earlier said that Timoshenko underwent full medical examination in accordance with the given recommendations at one of the medical institutions in Kiev outside the detention center on Wednesday.

Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich and Prime Minister Nikolai Azarov promised Tuesday that Timoshenko, whose condition deteriorated, would undergo the necessary diagnostic examination.
