NIZHNY NOVGOROD, November 23 (Itar-Tass) — The fire at a shopping centre outside the Russian city of Penza has engulfed already 900 square meters, Oleg Zugeyev, spokesman for the Volga regions’ centre of the Russian Ministry for Emergency Situation, says.
The fire at the Mega-Penza shopping mall broke out at about 6:20 am, Moscow time, on Wednesday. It has already engulfed an area of 900 square meters. Eighteen fire brigades combat the blaze, the spokesman said.
Nobody has been injured, he added.
