MAKHACHKALA, November 22 (Itar-Tass) —— Two policemen were wounded as a traffic police squad came under gunfire in the town of Khasavyurt, in Russia’s Caucasian republic of Dagestan, a spokesman for the republican administration of the Russian Investigations Committee told Itar-Tass on Tuesday.
“At about 15:00 Moscow time, an unidentified gunmen opened fire, presumably from a handgun, at the traffic police squad. Two policemen were hospitalized.
An investigation is underway. Measures are taken to arrest the assaulter.
