CHEBOKSARY, November 21 (Itar-Tass) —— The Chuvashia investigation department opened a criminal case over the death of three little children in the fire, which broke out at a private house in the town of Shumerlya overnight to November 20.

“The criminal case was opened for causing death for two and more people through negligence,” a senior aide to the chief of the republican investigation department of the Investigative Committee Oleg Dmitriyev told Itar-Tass on Monday.

The firemen arrived at the fire site immediately, the open fire was put down at 2.15 a.m. Moscow time and the fire was extinguished at 6.25 a.m. Moscow time. However, a 12-year-old boy and two girls aged seven and two years were found dead in the debris cleanup. Their 30-year-old mother was hospitalized with sweeping burns to the local hospital.
