About 100 fans detained during soccer match in Moscow

Almost 3,000 policemen and Interior Ministry Forces officers provided law and order during the match, which was watched by about 20,000 viewers

MOSCOW, November 20 (Itar-Tass) —— About a hundred of fans were detained at the Spartak vs. Lokomotiv match of the Russian soccer championship at the Moscow Luzhniki stadium on Sunday.

“About 100 fans were detained for drinking, lighting flares and committing acts of petty hooliganism,” a source at the city police department told Itar-Tass.

He said that no serious incidents happened.
