Lavrov, Clinton discuss urgent international issues, bilateral ties

The heads of the foreign policy departments “discussed some urgent international issues and bilateral relations”

MOSCOW, November 19 (Itar-Tass) —— Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton held bilateral talks within the framework of an East-Asian summit in Bali on Saturday, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported.

The heads of the foreign policy departments “discussed some urgent international issues and bilateral relations.”

The sides also exchanged notes in connection with the conclusion of the Russian-US agreement on simplifying visa formalities for mutual trips of Russian and US citizens. The given agreement is to be ratified by the Russian Federal Assembly.
