Aeroflot passengers stricken in Kamchatka to fly to Moscow

Two Aeroflot flights were delayed at the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky airport on November 16 and 17

PETROPAVLOVSK-KAMCHATSKY, November 18 (Itar-Tass) —— The Aeroflot passengers, who were stricken in Kamchatka over technical problems with airplanes, will fly to Moscow, a source in the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky airport directorate told Itar-Tass on Friday.

“The boarding continues on an Aeroflot airplane, which is about to fly to Moscow. Passengers of the flight detained on November 17 will depart for the destination,” the source said.

The passengers of the flight, which was delayed in Kamchatka on November 16, will depart to Moscow in the evening on November 17.

Two Aeroflot flights were delayed at the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky airport on November 16 and 17. About 400 people were waiting for a flight to Moscow.

The air carrier provided the passengers of delayed flights with hot food, the government of the Kamchatka Territory said. Some passengers were accommodated at the hotels.
