MOSCOW, November 16 (Itar-Tass) —— Russia will unify railway tariffs under the WTO rules two years after the accession to the organization, the director of the trading negotiations department at the Economic Development Ministry, Maxim Medvedkov, told a news conference at Itar-Tass.
“Railway transportation in accordance with the WTO rules must be the same. We are to eliminate the discrepancy in two years’ time,” he said.
Currently the WTO unites 153 states accounting for 95 percent of the world trade. Russia applied for WTO membership in 1994.
