MOSCOW, November 16 (Itar-Tass) —— The second line of the Nord Stream gas pipeline may be launched ahead of schedule, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with members of the Eastern Committee of German Economy here on Wednesday.
“The project will be most likely implemented ahead of schedule,” he said, noting that already a half of the underwater part of the Nord Stream gas pipeline was built.
The throughput capacity of the Nord Stream second line will make 27 million cubic meters of gas annually with the same capacity as the first line, Putin underlined.
