DONETSK, November 13 (Itar-Tass) —— The second unit of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant is again connected to the power grid, following its disconnection on Saturday due to a malfunction of the unit automatics, the power plant information center told Itar-Tass.
The repairs were done, and the unit was connected to the power grid at 2:58 p.m. Moscow time on Sunday. Five out of six units are functioning with the total output of over 4,300 megawatt. The fifth unit has been under maintenance for 45 days.
Radiation is normal inside and outside the power plant premises.
