DONETSK, November 13 (Itar-Tass) —— The second unit of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant is again connected to the power grid, following its disconnection on Saturday due to a malfunction of the unit automatics, the power plant information center told Itar-Tass.
The repairs were done, and the unit was connected to the power grid at 2:58 p.m. Moscow time on Sunday. Five out of six units are functioning with the total output of over 4,300 megawatt. The fifth unit has been under maintenance for 45 days.
