MOSCOW, November 13 (Itar-Tass) —— More than 200 amateur fishermen have been rescued from a drifting ice block in Tatarstan, the republican emergency situations department told Itar-Tass on Sunday.
“A total of 202 fishermen have been evacuated from an ice block in the Kuibyshevskoye water reservoir. None of them is hurt,” it said.
The accident happened off the village of Atabayevo in the morning. The fishermen ignored the warnings and were carried away from the shore.
