A criminal case opened against deputy head of the fifth penitentiary Maj. Vladimir Fedchenko suspected of culpable negligence

MOSCOW, November 11 (Itar-Tass) — Criminal charges have been brought against a deputy warden of a female penitentiary where a convict’s baby died, a source at the Russian Investigation Committee told Itar-Tass on Friday.

“The Moscow regional main investigative department of the Russian Investigation Committee opened a criminal case against deputy head of the fifth penitentiary Maj. Vladimir Fedchenko suspected of culpable negligence,” the source said.
