Ukraine deputies to have group supporting participation in EurAsEC

The group will unite about 15 deputies

KIEV, November 10 (Itar-Tass) —— Deputies of Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada /parliament/ will soon organize a group, uniting deputies of different factions, to support the country’s participation in the Eurasian Economic Community, a deputy from the ruling Party of Regions Valery Konovalyuk told a round table meeting on Thursday.

“We shall organize an inter-faction group called For the Eurasian Economic Community,” he said. “It was initiated by several deputies, including me.”

“Before end of next year we shall register it with the Verkhovna Rada,” Konovalyuk said adding that the objective of the group is to favour Ukraine’s joining the Eurasian Economic Community.

He explained that the group will unite about 15 deputies, who will be involved in a complex of issues on development of trade relations with the CIS countries in the framework of the free trade zone agreement.
