MOSCOW, November 10 (Itar-Tass) — Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has signed a Federal law (FL) "On the Introduction of Amendments to Some Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation (RF) in View of the Adoption of the Federal Law 'On the Ensurance of Uniformity of Measurements', passed by the State Duma on October 18, 2011, the Kremlin press service announced on Thursday.
The Federal Law introduces amendments to Article 14 of the FL "On the Use of Atomic Energy", Article 7 of the FL''On Geodesy and Cartography", Articles 10 and 14 of the FL "On the Elimination of Chemical Weapons", Article 14 of the FL "On Production and Consumption Wastes", Article 5 of the FL "On the Hydrometeorological Service", Article 8 of the FL "On Gas Supply in the RF", Article 56 of the Inland Water Transport Code of the RF, Article 215 of the Labour Code of the RF, Article 7 of the FL "On Railway Transport in the RF", and Articles 2, 12, 41 and 54 of the FL "On Communications".
These amendments are aimed at bringing the relevant provisions of the above-mentioned legislative acts into line with the Federal Law "On the Ensurance of Uniformity of Measurements".
