MOSCOW, November 9 (Itar-Tass) —— Russia insists on the revision of the sentence and return of Russian citizen Vladimir Sadovnichy home, Sergei Lavrov, the Russian Foreign Minister, said on Wednesday.
“We support the appeal by the lawyers of Vladimir Sadovnichy and Alexei Rudenko,” Lavrov stressed during a telephone talk with Foreign Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Hamrohon Zarifi. “The question of the destiny of the Russian citizen must be decided without any artificial linkages,” he said.
Zarifi, in his turn, referred to difficulties posed by numerous “blank spots” in the status of the Rolkan air company and claims to it from Afghanistan’s authorities, sources in the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
