VORONEZH, November 9 (Itar-Tass) — Ten people were injured in the collision of a locomotive and the tail coach of the passenger train at the Voronezh-1 railway station on Wednesday, the press service of the South-Eastern Railway told Itar-Tass.
The incident occurred at 5.05 a.m. Moscow time. “A locomotive collided with the tail coach of the passenger train” when five tail coaches were disconnected from the Novosibirsk-Belgorod passenger train, the press service said.
According to preliminary reports, ten people turned for medical aid.
The foresaid passenger train was dispatched for the destination site with a delay of 38 minutes.
The special committee headed by the chief of the South-Eastern Railway Anatoly Volodko is investigating the incident.
