The second biggest Russian air company Transaero became the first customer in Eastern Europe of planes Boeing-747-8 Intercontinental

MOSCOW, November 8 (Itar-Tass) —— The second biggest Russian air company Transaero became the first customer in Eastern Europe of planes Boeing-747-8 Intercontinental.

On Tuesday, Transaero signed an agreement with the US corporation Boeing on the purchase of four such planes.

As general director of the Russian air company Olga Pleshakova said at the signing ceremony, “the catalogue cost of one plane amounts to 330 million dollars, the planes will be supplied within the next five years.”

Transaero buys the four-class planes for 460 passengers each.
