MOSCOW. Nov 6 (Itar-Tass) – A Tyumen-St. Petersburg train was delayed as a commuter train locomotive had come off the rail in the Kostroma region, a source at the Northern Railroad administration told Itar-Tass.

So far, the train is two hours late, he said. Meanwhile, traffic has normalized at the Buy station, where the accident occurred.

The accident happened at 3:10 p.m. Moscow time near the town of Buy. “There were 208 passengers on the commuter train en route from Buy to Danilov. None of them was hurt,” the regional emergency situations department told Itar-Tass.

According to the Northern Railroad administration, most of the commuter train passengers decided not to go or delayed their trip until tomorrow. Five took a bus to the Danilov station, and 23 took a bus to the Yaroslavl-Glavny station. The Russian Railroads covered their traveling expenses.

“None of the passengers made any complaints,” the administration said.
