MOSCOW, November 5 (Itar-Tass) — The Right Cause Party suggests stripping the government of the right of legislative initiative.
"It should become the beginning of the program of de-bolshevization: to prevent its backtrack to the totalitarian past," said acting Party chairman Andrei Dunayev, who is on top of the list of the Party's candidates for the parliamentary election.
Within the framework of this program, Right Cause calls for boosting the role of parliament, strong presidential power and lesser role of the government.
"The rightists believe the government should be stripped of the right of legislative initiative. The role of government should be reduced regardless of who heads it," according to Dunayev.
