Belarus, Russia almost reach agreement on gas, oil deliveries

We need equal terms, and their probability is close to 100% – Lukashenko

GRODNO REGION, November 4 (Itar-Tass) —— Belarus and Russia have almost reached an agreement on the delivery of gas and oil, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said on Friday.

“We need equal terms, and their probability is close to 100%. I have been told that that the draft agreements on gas and oil are practically ready,” he said. “We do not need the Common Economic Space if there is no equality.”

As for the upcoming meeting of the Supreme State Council, Lukashenko said that it would discuss security, defense, energy prices and equal terms. “I think that this meeting will be symbolic and make very important decisions,” he concluded.
