Switzerland has prepared compromise proposals removing Georgia’s objections to Russia’s accession to the WTO

CANNES, November 4 (Itar-Tass) — Moscow is ready to accept compromise proposals on Russia’s accession to the World Trade Organisation (WTO) that have been prepared by Switzerland, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev confirmed this on Thursday.

“We are ready to accept compromise proposals prepared by Switzerland,” the president said, answering reporters’ questions. “All that our representative at the WTO negotiations Mr. Medvedkov has said, I, as Medvedev, fully confirm,” he said.

Switzerland has prepared compromise proposals removing Georgia’s objections to Russia’s accession to the WTO.

On Sunday, Medvedev discussed them during a meeting with Swiss President Micheline Calmy-Rey.
