Gazpromneft-Aero asks for more air kerosene from state reserve

“Gazpromneft-Aero does not plan higher aviation fuel prices,” the source said

MOSCOW, November 3 (Itar-Tass) —— Gazpromneft-Aero asked for more aviation kerosene in the Federal State Reserve Agency to keep a stable situation on the aviation fuel market, a source in Gazprom Neft told Itar-Tass on Thursday.

“In case of higher supplies Gazpromneft will make higher aviation kerosene supplies on the domestic market, including the Moscow air hub.”

“Gazpromneft-Aero does not plan higher aviation fuel prices. Gazpromneft-Aero will meet the liabilities for fuel supplies under the contracts with the partner aviation companies in November 2011 as before,” the source said.

“Gazpromneft-Aero is a daughter company of Gazprom Neft, which makes aviation kerosene supplies to all airports in the Moscow air hub under direct contracts with the air companies, fuelling the airplanes “in the wing”. The company supplies the fuel to the air carriers at the Domodedovo airport at 45% of total airport fuel consumption and at the Sheremetyevo airport – 25%. The Gazpromneft-Aero fuel supplies to the air companies at the Vnukovo airport make 5-6% from total airport consumption. “Meanwhile, Gazpromneft-Aero does not possess the stakes in the charter capital of the fuelling service at the Vnukovo airport and thereby does not control the fuelling service at the airport,” the Gazprom Neft source said in comments on the media reports over the company’s intentions to increase the aviation kerosene price to the Vnukovo airport.
