LAUSANNE, November 2 (Itar-Tass) — Jacques Rogge, the President of the International Olympic Committee, said Wednesday he believes in the huge success of the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi.
He indicated that a very strong team of professionals led by Dmitry Chernyshenko is steering preparations for the Games, which are proceeding at a very good pace.
Rogge said in an answer to a question from Itar-Tass he feels very optimistic as regards the Sochi Games.
The International Olympic Committee is holding a regular conference at the Olympic Museum in Lausanne. The participants are discussing the organization of Olympic competitions for young athletes.
