MOSCOW, November 1 (Itar-Tass) —— Russian military intelligence is not engaged in sabotage against Georgia, head of the Main Intelligence Department of the Russian General Staff Col. Gen. Alexander Shlyakhturov told reporters in view of the Day of Military Intelligence to be marked on November 5. “It is well known that Georgia does not like Russian security services. It accuses them of organizing subversive operations against the sovereign state. I can affirm that these claims are absolutely wrong,” he said. “At the same time, Tbilisi must know that the Main Intelligence Department will immediately inform the national military command and political administration in the case of planning of new military provocations against Russia and its allies in the region. The response will be immediate,” he said.
