One dies, two smoke poisoned in house fire in western Moscow

The fire is confined. Six people, including two children, are rescued

MOSCOW, November 1 (Itar-Tass) —— One person died and two more were smoke poisoned in a house fire in western Moscow, city emergency situations department spokesman Yevgeny Bobylev told Itar-Tass. The fire in a 17-story house on Glavmosstroy Street was reported at 7:35 p.m. local time. It started in an apartment on the second story and smoke was thick. “The fire is confined. Six people, including two children, are rescued. One is dead, and two are smoke poisoned. They are now at the hospital,” Bobylev said. Five fire engines are putting out the blaze.
