Five killed, 9 injured in major road accident in Yaroslavl region

Four vehicles – three cars and a truck collided at 8.25 p.m. Moscow time on Sunday on the highway between Vorobino and Tunoshna

MOSCOW, October 30 (Itar-Tass) —— Five people were killed and nine people were injured in a major road accident in the Yaroslavl Region, the press service of the central regional emergencies center told Itar-Tass on Sunday.

“Four vehicles – three cars and a truck collided at 8.25 p.m. Moscow time on Sunday on the highway between Vorobino and Tunoshna,” the press service said. Five people died of injuries. Another nine people were hospitalized.

The traffic police are investigating the road accident.
