Russia hopes for soonest coordination of WTO issues with Georgia – Dvorkovich

“The Swiss colleagues will go to Tbilisi today and raise these issues at their meetings with the Georgian side”

GORKI, October 30 (Itar-Tass) —— Russia hopes to resolve all the technical problems at its WTO negotiations with Georgia and sees no significant obstacles to the positive outcome, Russian Presidential Advisor Arkady Dvorkovich said upon the negotiations between President Dmitry Medvedev and Swiss President Micheline Calmy-Rey who mediates the Russia-Georgia trade negotiations.

“There are a number of issues to be specified,” he said. “The Swiss colleagues will go to Tbilisi today and raise these issues at their meetings with the Georgian side.”

“After the Tbilisi negotiations, the Swiss intermediaries may have additional consultations with Russia by phone if that is necessary,” he said. “We hope that all the questions will be coordinated within the next few hours.”
