Fire kills two Muscovites

Presently, the fire is localised. Five people were rescued from higher floors. Firefighters continue working on the site

MOSCOW, October 30 (Itar-Tass) —— Two people died in fire which occurred in a house in south-east of Moscow on Saturday, Head of EMERCOM’s pres service Yevgeny Bobylev said.

The fire started in a flat of a 12-storey building in Shumilov Street.

“The area of the fire is 20 square metes,” he said. “Fire fighters found bodies of two people, one of them may be a body of a child.”

Presently, the fire is localised, he added. Five people were rescued from higher floors.

Firefighters continue working on the site.
