MAKHACHKALA, October 28 (Itar-Tass) —— One serviceman died and one police officer got an injury as a result of fire opened by unidentified people, ITAR-TASS learnt at the republican Interior Ministry on Friday.
According to the source, “a joint detail of policemen and servicemen tried to stop a VAZ-2106 car for checking documents in the settlement of Bairamaul of the Khasavyurt region at about 23.25 Moscow time on Thursday. The car’s passengers didn’t obey the law enforcers and opened fire at them from automatic arms. As a result, one serviceman died from bullet wounds on the spot, and one police officer was injured and hospitalized.”
The criminals are being searched for.
Criminal proceedings were instituted.
