More than 700 passengers delayed at Novosibirsk airport muffled in fog

Bad weather conditions caused a change in the flight schedule of the airport

BARNAUL, October 26 (Itar-Tass) — A heavy fog in Novosibirsk caused flight delays at Novosibirsk airport on Wednesday. Around 740 passengers remain at Tolmachyovo airport in Novosibirsk, pending departure to the destination.

Bad weather conditions caused a change in the flight schedule of the airport. Five flights have been sent to Barnaul from where they are to fly to Novosibirsk. The delayed flights were to have delivered passengers from Moscow and St.Petersburg. Another flight scheduled to fly to Novosibirsk has been delayed in the city of Surgut because of a heavy fog in Novosibirsk. Flight delays to Khurgada, Novy Urengoi and Yekaterinburg have been announced.

Meanwhile, the fog hanging over the Novosibirsk airport has been slowly dispersing, the press service of Tolmachyovo airport said.
