Russia has no plans to cut financial assistance to South Ossetia, Deputy Regional Development Minister Sergei Vereshchagin

TSKHINVAL, October 25 (Itar-Tass) — Russia has no plans to cut financial assistance to South Ossetia, Deputy Regional Development Minister Sergei Vereshchagin, who is on a working visit to the republic, said on Tuesday.

“The financial aid for South Ossetia will not be reduced either in 2012 or in 2013. All provisions of the investment program for South Ossetia’s social and economic development will be implemented in full.”

This year Russia allocated 6.8 billion roubles for the investment program that includes restoration of the republic’s road infrastructure, social infrastructure development and for the industrial and agricultural development program.
