PERM, October 25 (Itar-Tass) —— A reserve plane will arrive in Perm in a few hours to take the passengers of the Lufthansa A-320, whish was on a flight from Yekaterinburg to Frankfurt and made an emergency landing in Perm, deputy director general of Perm's Bolshoye Savino airport Natalia Grigoryeva told Itar-Tass.
The reserve plane will arrive in about six-eight hours.
The people are provided with food, and the Lufthansa company, to which the A-320 belongs, is dealing with accommodation of the people in a hotel.
The Lufthansa passenger plane A-320-200, which was on a flight from Yekaterinburg to Frankfurt, made an emergency landing at the airport in Perm at about 05:45 Moscow time on Tuesday. The cause of the emergency landing was smoke in the cockpit, the press service of the Russian Investigative Committee's Ural regional transport investigative department said.
Aboard the airliner were 116 passengers, including a child, and six crewmembers. Nobody was hurt.
An inquiry was launched into the incident before an official investigation. A group of Investigators went to the site.
