MOSCOW, October 23 (Itar-Tass) — Three people were injured by a blast at a poultry yard in the Bryansk Region; the fate of another two workers is unknown so far, Itar-Tass learnt on Sunday at the Russian Investigation Committee.
“Bryansk investigative bodies of the Investigation Committee conduct preliminary investigation on this fact,” the Investigation Committee reported.
“A blast ripped the air at the Snezhka poultry yard in the village of Putevka, Bryansk district, on Sunday at 09.00. As a result, the building was partially destroyed; three workers of the enterprise with various injuries were whiffed off to a medical establishment (according to the committee, their life is out of danger),” the committee continued.
According to preliminary data, the explosion took place at the building of the fodder workshop. Another two workers were to be at the workshop at the time of the blast, but their whereabouts have not been established up to this time,” the committee went on to say.
Investigators and specialists work at the place of the incident. Debris is being cleared up in order to find the other two victims. A criminal case is about to be instituted in connection with the incident.
Earlier, the regional branch of the Ministry for Emergencies told Itar-Tass that an explosion of a dust and air mixture took place at the three-story building of the fodder workshop of the poultry yard.
