MOSCOW, October 21 (Itar-Tass) —— It would be absurd to have a visa-free regime with Georgia, since that country broke diplomatic relations with Russia, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Friday.
“We want to have civilized relations,” Lavrov said in an interview broadcast by the Radio of Russia, the Voice of Russia, and the Ekho Moskvy radio stations. “Here, I would like to draw your attention to the fact that visas are always issues to citizens when it comes to cultural or humanitarian events.”
