MOSCOW, October 21 (Itar-Tass) —— The Russian State Duma lower parliament house on Friday passed the draft federal budget for 2012 for the longer period of 2013-2014 on first reading.
As many as 314 lawmakers voted in favour of the draft budget, 87 – against it, and two abstained.
The draft budget was traditionally supported by the pro-government United Russia faction, while three opposition factions, i.e. that of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF), the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR), and the Just Russia party, voted against the government bill.
