MOSCOW, October 21 (Itar-Tass) —— The investigation is completed into the criminal case over the explosion at the Kemerovo coalmine Ulyanovskaya in 2007 that killed 110 people, spokesman of the Investigative Committee Vladimir Markin told Itar-Tass on Friday.
Nine people, including the mine director and other senior officials of the coalmine, as well as the officers from the regional branch of the Russian technological watchdog, will face trial over the most terrible mine disaster in Russia in the past few years, he noted.
An operating engineer and a mining controller, whose actions resulted in a horrible disaster, were convicted earlier.
