MOSCOW, October 21 (Itar-Tass) —— Moscow may receive new territories already on January 1, 2012, Deputy Mayor of Moscow Andrei Sharonov told an economic forum in the framework of the Days of Dusseldorf in Moscow.
“This issue is being processed now from the legal point of view, and we expect the legal decision on Moscow’s new territories to be adopted before January 1, and from the New Year they may be integrated in Moscow,” he said.
Sharonov stressed that presently authorities are involved in the legal side of the new territories, while the economic aspect would require additional time.
