MOSCOW, October 20 (Itar-Tass) —— Gazprom is considering the possibility of laying a third and last line of the Nord Stream gas carrier, the gas holding company’s deputy CEO, Alexander Medvedev, said on Thursday.

As he put it, “there is such an idea.”

“This is tentative discussion, we shall be prepared to supply to Europe as much gas as Europe may need,” he said. “To see how much gas will be needed one has to estimate the demand. The ball is in the European court.”
