Ukraine, RF activate joint projects in space, aviation - Azarov

Azarov also stressed that "all issues of the Ukraine-Russia economic cooperation will work out compromises in the interests of Ukraine and Russia"

KIEV, October 20 (Itar-Tass) — Ukraine and Russia have agreed to activate promotion of joint projects in aviation, space and nuclear industry, Ukraine’s Prime Minister Nikolai Azarov told the government on Thursday.

The decision was made by prime ministers of the two countries during a meeting of the CIS heads of governments in St. Petersburg, he said.

“In other words, we have agreed to ‘push’ joint projects in space, aviation sectors, in nuclear industry and others,” he said. “Therefore I am convinced that next year major projects will begin bringing results in the European space.”

Azarov also stressed that “all issues of the Ukraine-Russia economic cooperation will work out compromises in the interests of Ukraine and Russia.”
