Central bank raises US dollar, euro exchange rates against rouble

The Central Bank of Russia on Thursday raised the dollar and euro official exchange rates as of Friday

MOSCOW, October 20 (Itar-Tass) The Central Bank of Russia on Thursday raised the dollar and euro official exchange rates as of Friday, October 18, the External and Public Relations Department of the Central Bank said in its regular report.

The official exchange rate of the euro climbed by 27.74 kopecks to 42.9858 rubles for one euro, the report said.

The dollar's official exchange rate raised against the rouble by 45.31 kopeks and totaled 31.3788 roubles.

Proceeding from the CBR report, the dollar-euro basket, calculated under the official currency exchange rates for Friday, October 20 climbed by 37 kopeks as compared with Thursday, October 19, to 36.6 roubles.
