The launch of a Russian booster Soyuz ST was delayed for a day from the French Guiana spaceport over a technical problem

THE KOUROU SPACEPORT (South America), October 20 (Itar-Tass) —— The launch of a Russian booster Soyuz ST was delayed for a day from the French Guiana spaceport over a technical problem, a source at the Kourou spaceport said on Thursday.

The launch is postponed for 24 hours, a spokesperson of the Arianespace Company told reporters.

Technical problems emerged in fuelling the booster with oxygen that demands additional examination.

The launch of the Russian booster with the upper stage rocket Fregat-MT was to be made at 2.34 p.m. Moscow time on Thursday, a source in the French National Space Research Center told Itar-Tass earlier. Two satellites of the European navigation system Galileo were to be orbited.
