ST. PETERSBURG, October 19 (Itar-Tass) — Next year, Belarus will be getting Russian gas at lower prices, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said at a news conference after a session of the interstate council of the Eurasian Economic Community and the supreme body of the Customs Union.
Putin said the leadership of Gazprom gas giant had informed him that it had practically reached new agreements with Belarus.
The prime minister did not give concrete gas prices, noting that “this issue will be discussed at a meeting with the Belarussian president” due shortly.
