MAKHACHKALA, October 19 (Itar-Tass) — A police vehicle came under fire on the Kavkaz highway in Dagestan on Wednesday. Four policemen were wounded, and one of them is in a grave condition, sources from Dagestan’s Interior Ministry told Tass.
The shelling took place in the Kayakent district at about 18:20, Moscow time. According to the source, “supposedly, unidentified persons fired at a police vehicle carrying policemen from a VAZ-2114 car”.
Police take measures to identify and detain the criminals.
