YEKATERINBURG, October 18 (Itar-Tass) — A pupil at Yekaterinburg school # 81 stabbed geography teacher Dmitry Slavyanov in the back during a break on Tuesday. The man was hospitalized to the central town hospital, the press service of the regional prosecutor's office told Itar-Tass.
"A pre-investigation check is underway. The prosecutors are ascertaining the possible motives behind the attack and the gravity of harm caused to the victim's health," the press service said.
Prosecutors are also checking compliance with the legislation on minors by the administration of the school where the incident occurred.
