Industrial production in Russia in the first eight months of this year was reported to be 4.5 percent

MOSCOW, October 17 (Itar-Tass) —— Industrial production in Russia slowed down to 0.3 percent in September, Minister of Economic Development Elvira Nabiullina said, adding that it was a seasonally adjusted indicator.

“Seasonally adjusted, there is a slight decline of 0.3 percent in September against August,” she said on Monday, October 17.

However, the minister said these were “preliminary data” and added that she could not specify the sectors in which the decline had occurred.

In August, the seasonally adjusted industrial production growth was 0.4 percent of the July indicator.

“This is very good since we had minus 0.2 percent last month [in August],” Nabiullina said a month ago.
