MOSCOW, October 15 (Itar-Tass) —— The ruling United Russia party’s victory in the upcoming Duma elections in December 2011 will guarantee further development of the country, President Dmitry Medvedev said.
“A key role will have to be played by the political forces that will hold central positions after the elections. If United Russia wins these elections and the presidential election, this will be a guarantee that we will continue to develop,” Medvedev said at a meeting with his supporters on Saturday, October 15.
“What is also very important within this development is who does what. And I do count on your support in this respect,” he said.
